Breakages and repairs

Snapped that brake lever on a tree? Pretzeled a wheel on Katore Jumps? Dented a sanction on Boulderdash?  We can fix your gear and order the new bits (and of course, what better excuse for an upgrade?)

Maintenance

The best way to reduce repair costs and extend the life of your gear is regular maintenance.  Suspension forks and shocks, linkages, chains and cassettes should all be regularly inspected, tuned and eventually replaced before they blow out just when you’re doing that all-day mission miles from anywhere.  Many of our customers make it a regular part of their year, especially mid-summer and winter (winter is an ideal time to upgrade your night lights and get some bike work done in preparation for summer).

Pre-race checks

Why spend all that time and money getting your body in top fitness only to be let down by your bike on race day? You don’t get race entry refunds for mechanicals after all. Book your bike in with us at the Ride Rotorua Store before race day to help ensure you get to the finish line as planned.

Installation

We get it. Sometimes you’ve found a great deal on TradeMe or Facebook and you’ve got those parts you wanted so much. But can you install them correctly without creating more damage or bleeding knuckles? We can do that for you (without the damage and bleeding knuckles).
